Jackie Kinasz
Jackie received a BA with honors in Dancemaking and a minor in Environmental Science from Columbia College Chicago. While at Columbia, she studied teaching theory and practice that was heavily influenced by the methods of Anne Green Gilbert under Dardi McGinley-Gallivan. She has trained with master instructors Liz Burritt, Paige Cunningham, Carrie Hanson, Becca Lemme, and Joanna Rosenthal. She is the co-producer of Creative Nests, a dance production company that presents emerging artists' work with an emphasis on collaboration amongst artistic mediums. She has presented original choreographic work at the Dance Center of Columbia College, the Fasseas White Box Theater at the Drucker Center, and Nothin' Less Coffee House for Wallahgala Art Week. She has interned with Aerial Dance Chicago and currently dances with BONEdanse Excavation under the direction of Atalee Judy. Jackie holds a 200-hr yoga teaching certificate from Yogaview and teaches with LifeStart Fitness, Move Your Feet Sports, and JCC Apachi Chicago Day Camp.
